Plants and screens are both great options for landscaping as long as our drivers have clear access to your tank. Be sure to leave at least one side of any fencing or latticework completely open around the tank or dome; placing any materials or plants at least two feet from the tank and keep dried grass or weeds cleared in the area. Don’t place any type of covering or deck over the tank or dome. Also, avoid using solid masonry or hollow brick as fencing or latticework (although hollow decorative tile is permitted).
Underground Tanks
In some cases, tanks may be installedunderground with only a small dome visible above ground. This secured dome houses the valves, gauges and regulators for the system and is used for service and refilling the tank.
